Since Lynne and I share a birthday, we had a tacit agreement that we'd BOTH work on March 10.
The alternative would have left a very empty newsroom at the RSJ.
Solids to little sis Rachel for a batch of top drawer flapjacks to boost the birthday vibe:) There was loads to do, as ever, so probs just as well my astral twin and I succumbed to those inbuilt work ethics.
Oldest sis freshly returned from a jaunt to Egypt - with tales of whirling dervishes and flashers. Jetlagged she may be but we took her up on her offer of a post-work babysit stint without blinking. Anj and I made it to see Juno and my thoughts on it go a little bit like this:

(The short version: Top film, dude!)
Michael is experimenting with a language known only to himself but is adding new words to his vocabulary every day. It's a magical time. I really fancy getting a family portrait done but at the back of my mind I think I should shed 20kg first. That's perhaps the equivalent of a woman wanting to get bikini ready for the beach holiday, only far less likely to actually happen in my case. The gym thing is easy - it's the home-from-work food thing that's tougher to conquer. Tips - short of stomach stapling and willpower transplants - are welcome.
Wrist still gammy so that's all I've got to say about that.
