A woman gave me flowers today:)
Guitar hero

So inappropriately dressed was I when taking Grace to her nursery this morning that I couldn't feel my fingertips. (She was fine: gloves, scarf, very cute pink hat...the lot). I was delighted though to be handed some flowers by a lovely woman there.

OK, the flowers were actually for Anj to say thanks for her looking after Andrea all day on Monday, but that didn't stop a few heads turning, I can tell you:) And you know what? It IS lovely to be given flowers (yes, even when they're not really for you!)

My curiosity got the better of me and I went along to see Les Chansons D'Amour at Eden Court. I'd seen the trailer last week and was intrigued by the incredibly catchy tune used in what is a totally offbeat story of love, death and a sort of boy-meets-girl-then-meets-another-boy exploration of coping with grief. A one off and well worth a squizz for anyone looking for something a little more challenging than Hannah Montana's latest offering. It's French, by the way.

I love giving flowers to my husband! That's a cute story.

I meant to say I noticed you worked out getting pictures in your posts! Yeah - and I've really been enjoying them. This is a fabulous one. :)

Thanks:) I have now resolved to give my wife flowers (even if I have to go and pick them myself) more often.

I haven't seen the film but it is on the torrent list that hubby keeps. Hubby introduced me to most of the foreign movies I enjoy.

Have you seen Cyrano de Bergerac with Gérard Depardieu? It was a revelation to me...I had not realised he was that good an actor. :) First time I saw him was in Green Card...

Love the pic of the little ones having fun - Grace looks sweet in pink.

Cyrano is a great film. His early French ones, before Hollywood beckoned, were pretty good. Lots of good French films just awaiting discovery I reckon!
