I feel a lie down coming on
SOMETHING made me head out for that aforementioned film from Iraq last night and I'm glad I did. I was company, at least, for the only other person who turned out to see it:-/
Quite the emotional roller-coaster and not one to see if you're just hoping for some light laughs and an excuse to guzzle popcorn. But, as I said in a wee online review, I reckon it's a really, really important film which should be seen by lots and lots of people. My first five star review, too.

WE ended up with a really strong front page today thanks to a couple of late developing stories adding to a good overall mix. A trio of stories I worked on over the last two days combined with the emotionally draining impact of that film have left me feeling pretty whacked. But like a good run out in the gym, you feel pretty good when it's all over.
NOW I just need to work out how to make this newly acquired Olympus voice recorder (the £20 knocked off the price was too good to pass up) fall in love with my Mac. But that requires more mental energy than I have available tonight...
